Hey guys. I've been away for a week or two and thought I'd share why. Me, my parents and my 3-months-old brother Jaakko flew to germany for a vacation. We, my father's friend and his family flew to düsseldorf, where we rented two Fiat Hymer campers and started our tour around Germany. At first we drove to Mönchengladbach, where we stayed over night at a german friend's backyard .. Next morning we hit the road, course headed to Hockenheim. My dad's friend took part in a drifting contest with a 4 liter v-6 opel omega evo-500 drifter. We were a part of the pit crew. The contest went well, our car shared the first place along with some great german drifters.

After the contest, from Hockenheim we headed north, our next checkpoint being the legendary Nürburgring. En route to Nürburg something funny happened though. Our intention was to drive by a nifty little road which followed the Rein river. We got on the road, but the local police stopped us and told that there is gonna be a cycling contest later that day, so we couldn't drive through the road. We were directioned to drive to Nüburg by circling around the road and taking a tiny squirly serpentine road which led us over the german alps. This unfortunately messed up our timetable, and when we finally got to Nürburgring, we didn't have time to do much there. We did see the formula 1 ferraris tuning their cars and testing them around the track though, next weekend there's gonna be a f1 gp at nürburg

After seeing nürburg we drove a little around Germany and headed back to düsseldorf to end our tour the Germany. Awesome trip all around, although I didn't get to play any WoW during the 5 days of fun =(
